I'm long on tesla. Have close to 1000 shares. But I'm getting sick of backing tesla and still seeing it down. Watching NVIDA soar while I sit here with my portfolio of tesla shares shedding value makes me kick myself. I think others might feel the same way so any small rise in tesla and people jump ship which makes the stock drop again. I'm not intending on selling but damn it's hard to hold.

The problem with tesla is it is missing the most important missing piece of the puzzle. It needs a tiny diesel generator and a tiny fuel tank for one emergency road side battery charging. Dual engine hybrid is the answer. There are gas stations everywhere. The fuel for the genarator should be available everywhere. Not the same for charging stations.

I think FSD is fantastic. However, my foot is constantly on the accelerator.

Softening of EV sales. In addition, there is a lot of used EVs getting dumped, with not enough confidence to purchase them. Also the pricing of EVs being volatile due to various factors, and the buyers are just holding back. Tesla is still an EV company(Battery, Solar Energy division not showing much growth), and its stock is evaluated as such, unless proven otherwise (Energy Infrastructure, Robotics(optimus humanoid) Robotaxi ride sharing, etc).

how do you know they will show take rate for FSD was that shown last earnings?

The company is stuck so will the stock. What is there to value right now? Everything elon talk about is comming sometime in the future... When? No one knows.

China FSD release is huge. Imagine the grief that won’t occur in the US because of the unstated arms race we’re in with China. In other words, if China can do it, we can do it.

Stocks don’t just keep going up multi percents a day… they would end up with 1000% runs a year in that case I’ve been in the market 12 years. And we’ve disconnected from reality with only the Mag7 carrying the market for years and years. And yea it makes sense as they are funneling a ton of the money.

Nothing goes up forever. Tesla had a monster run since 2018 and two stock splits. It has peaked until Robotaxi hits the road.

To get multiple Green Day’s, maybe Musk would need to address all the conflicts of interest and how it was in tesla shareholder interest for him to poach tesla AI talent to xAI, and also why tesla can’t advertise car sales but can advertise his pay package vote. People know his bigger vision. People don’t know if he’s acting in their favor with the other questionable stuff including retweeting polarizing irrelevant political content and competing with tesla for talent and AI.

The only momentum I can forsee for the next couple of years plus is the same downward momentum of the last 3 years. Face it, tesla isn’t delivering and muskrat is fiddling while Rome burns 🥵🤷🏻‍♂️

What makes this SEC thing stupid and infuriating is that they are routinely ignoring far far bigger violations, like the blindingly obvious insider trading of certain politicians, or the also obvious market manipulation that happens every day. Or when a bank is repeatedly caught laundering money for terrorists and drug cartels, they get away with a small fine. It's obviously politically motivated.

It’s all because of the drastic drop in EV revenue growth rate from 50% per year to 0% or even negative this year. A lot of people are waiting to get out of the stock, which cancels out every positive momentum.

Dude, revenue has to grow, people are tired of the same Elon promises. How hard is that to understand. 4 years and the price is flat, you make more on views than you do on your actual tesla stock returns. That's how you make money, lets be real here.

A Forward pe of around 75 is horrible!

The PE would be in crazy land for the stock to return to all time highs. Without real revenue growth I don’t see this stock returning to $300 in any sustainable way. Daily news about talk is largely a sideshow at this point. It’s put up or shut up time.

Fsd Robotaxis revenue only matter of time or a matter of if it ever happens ?

Interesting thoughts. Maybe I'm oversimplifying, but I think it comes down to mostly "FSD Fatigue." Many investors are standing on the sidelines with an "I'll believe it when I see it" sentiment.

Robotaxi is just BS by Elon and Tesla has nothing on the plate for the future. FSD is way behind any other competitioner and so is AI. Tesla stock is way overinflatet and is only held up by hopes and dreams but no substance.

Tesla stock is just waiting for the first quarter of auto margins improving. Then analysts will stop lowering EPS estimates and start raising them again. I think SEC will stop going after Elon once Trump is back in office next year. Elon has made himself the enemy of democrats and Biden is using the SEC to go after Elon for supporting free speech which makes it harder for Democrats to spread their lies.

EPS is what is keeping Tesla stock stuck nothing else. It’s honestly not pretty over valued at the moment. I say that with Tesla being my largest position.

And all this time I thought it was him dumping the stock 5 times to buy twitter, taking full payment for vehicles 4 years in advance, delaying the release of said product, and then changing the promised specs to half while doubling the price in order to receive what you paid for, interiors made of cheap plastic, still having massive panel gaps,..

I can honestly say that Tesla has kinda saturated the market at this point. I bought a red Model Y because I know that that color is rarer to see than the plethora of silver and white Model Ys and 3s on the road. The point being, Model Ys and 3s are everywhere now. There is no more exclusivity to the brand. One of the things that Tesla needs now is newer, more unique looking models to help entice new buyers.
